GUIDE YOUR SHIP

Roll our special weighted dice and maneuver your ship to the host of islands and ports for treasure and upgrades.

BUILD YOUR CREW

While in Ports, you can use your Notoriety to recruit crew-mates.  The more skilled the pirate, the greater the cost. In the event that you are defeated in battle, your Crew Cards remain in hand.  Seems you've found yourself a loyal bunch.

CHOOSE YOUR CAPTAIN
Pick one of our eight different Captain Cards. Each Captain is equipped with special abilities for different strategies. Jack Rackham has faster movement while Blackbeard gains extra notoriety every time he loots and plunders.

FIGHT YOUR ENEMIES

Face off against merchant vessels in order to gain Loot Cards which give you Gold and Notoriety. Challenge other Captains for their collection of plunder. Or battle one of the four monsters for the biggest bounty: a Treasure Map, Gold and Notoriety. Those maps will come in handy later.

SEARCH FOR TREASURE

Explore the various islands on the map to discover buried treasure. These Treasure Cards give you both Gold and Notoriety. But chart your course well, once you visit an island, you cannot return for more treasure.

UPGRADE YOUR VESSEL

Also in Ports, you can trade in your Gold for upgrades to your Pirate Ship. Will you choose to upgrade your sails for faster navigation, purchase more cannons for heavier attack, or reinforce the hull for better health? Choose wisely.

OWN THE SEAS

Your ultimate quest is to control five Treasure Maps and traverse to Treasure Island at the center of the board. Will you fight monsters for a map, discover one in buried treasure, or battle your fellow players for their plunder?
